But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5
As a young teenage boy Joseph had a dream and that dream almost cost him his life. Even after years of being misunderstood and even imprisoned, Joseph’s dream finally came to fruition. In the “fullness of time” God put it all together and this dream of Joseph’s propelled him to be the second in command of all of Egypt, thus allowing him to save his family, who would be the future Hebrew nation, from famine and starvation.
Have you ever grown impatient trying to figure out when God was going to do something that you believe He’s told you He would do? I know I have, but what I’m learning more and more every day, is that God has a “set time” for everything He does and His timing is always perfect.
I was recently prompted to stop by a place that was out of the way. When I arrived I ran into someone that I hadn’t seen in quiet a while and after a brief conversation, they shared something with me that was a BIG answer to a particular need. And, once again God reminded me that His timing is always perfect. Not only was His timing perfect in that particular area of need, but even in the simplicity of Him directing me to be at the right place at the right time to receive the news, was all Him too.
Today, you can rest in the truth that God is working on your behalf even if it doesn’t look like it and know with out a doubt, that His timing is always perfect.
