Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3
Have you ever noticed that answers to questions you may have never received answer for, often come when you answer? That’s certainly happened in my life. There’ve been times when I knew God was calling me, or leading me, in a certain direction and when I answered that call, it brought answers to questions I had never had answers for before.
I remember it was in high school when I started developing an interest in radio. I would joke around with my friends and “do the weather” and play pranks on other friends by calling them up, pretending to be a DJ, and asking them a trivia question and then telling them “you’ve won!!” Even in my senior year I got a job as a part time DJ at the local AM station.
Decades passed, but yet this interest/love for radio wouldn’t go away, then one day it all became clear. In 2012, God called me to step out in faith and launch an FM Christian music station here in Eastern North Carolina where I live. I really didn’t know how to do it, but He guided me all the way. Today, that station reaches thousands of listeners every day with positive, encouraging music, and since 2013 we’ve hosted six concerts with nationally known Christian artist.
That “answer” led me to “answers” as to why I could never shake this “radio thing,” and other answers I don’t have time to mention here.
In 1 Kings 19, Elisha answered the “call” when Elijah came out to the field where he was plowing and threw his cloak over Elisha’s shoulders. Elisha new instantly what that meant, and I’m sure his “yes” answer led him to answered questions that he may have had as well.
Do you have answers to questions you’ve not received the answers for? If so, I believe that if you will answer, “yes” to what He’s calling you to, or leading you to do, your answers are OTW.
