“I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” Mark 11:23
Walmart is doing their best to win the battle for the online shopper. They realize the sophisticated shopper wants to avoid the inconvenience of shopping and goes to the store only when necessary. So, Walmart has created what it calls the “Pickup Tower” and it’s pretty cool. When I saw one in our local store, my first thought was, “What is that?”, but a few days later I saw a Facebook post from a friend who raved about its convenience. You simply place your order and pay for it online. Then Walmart will text you a barcode, which you then scan from your phone on the screen of the Pickup Tower and your order drops down out of the tower and is delivered right into your hands.
The key to this is that it’s absolutely necessary for you to have the barcode that is sent to you, which is your electronic receipt. Even if you’re delayed in picking up your order, there are no worries because it’ll be right there waiting for you – as long as you have your receipt.
In Mark 11:23, Jesus tells his disciples about a “Divine Receipt” that they need in order to retrieve their answer to prayer from Heaven, and that “Divine Receipt” was their faith. Jesus said that when we “believe that we receive when we pray, we shall have what we say.” This kind of belief says, “I have it, it’s mine, and I’ve got it!” even before the answer is delivered. Even though this may seem a little radical to some, it’s God’s prescribed order and one of the ways He delivers to us what we ask for and need.
Today, “believe that you receive!” Show Heaven your receipt, and watch God deliver!
