“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5
From the beginning of time our adversary has done everything in his power to snuff out the Light. As far back as the Garden of Eden, he knew that a Light would one day come into the earth, a Light, so powerful and bright, that it would change the world forever. That Light did come, and His name is Jesus Christ. John describes Jesus as “the light of men.”
Have you come to know this Light? And are you allowing this Light to guide you along life’s way? We all walk through dark times and places in our lives, but I’m so thankful that God has given us a light, through Jesus, that is always there to guide us. And as John states in verse eighteen, Jesus, the Light, always leads us back to the Father’s “unfailing love and faithfulness.”
Today, if you find yourself in one of those dark times or places, turn to the one true Light and let Him lead you.
