“For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.” Psalm 108:4
It’s amazing how childhood memories can come back to you from time to time. Just in reading our scripture for today, I was reminded of a marketing campaign that our local NBC affiliate launched way back in the early 80’s. They were building a new TV tower and they wanted to use this event to draw new viewers to the station. This was not a standard TV tower either. From what I can remember it was the tallest, or one of the tallest, man-made structures on the east coast, reaching a height of some 2,000 feet. So, the campaign they launched with jingles and bumper stickers was, “Seven’s on top of it all.” Today, that tower still stands and allows them to reach what is one of the largest geographical media markets in the US.
We can rest in the reminder that there is something we have that reaches far above any man-made structure on earth, and that is the unfailing love and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father. It’s a love and faithfulness so tall and high that we never have to worry about it running out, and it’s always within our reach.
Today, be reminded that your Heavenly Father’s love and faithfulness always watches over you, and when life and circumstances bring you down, His love and goodness will put you back “on top of it all.”
